Poached Pears (KL'P)

Ingredients
Pears: However many you want
Wine: ½cup (125ml) this will also vary by how big a pot you use.
Sugar: ¼-½ cup (60-125ml)
Assorted spices: I recommend cinnamon, but others are fine.

Directions
Add the wine, spices, and sugar into a small-to-medium size pot and stir these together. Then fill the rest of the way up with water. Bring this all to a boil, and then take it down to a simmer after a minute or two, stirring.

Add in the pears. I did not peel mine, but that will make them even softer, and make them absorb the wine mixture even better. Place these in, and try to keep the stems up and out of the mixture, since this will make for easier retrieval later. leave these in for 45 minutes or longer.
